TO ATTEND 2026 HALL OF FAME INDUCTION WEEKEND
Annual Hall of Fame Weekend celebration set for June 11-14
CANASTOTA, NY - MARCH 3, 2026 - TheInternational Boxing Hall of Fame and Museum is pleased to announce four-division world champion Mikey Garcia attend the 2026 Hall of Fame Induction Weekend set for June 11-14 in “Boxing’s Hometown.”
“While winning world titles in four weight divisions Mikey Garcia thrilled boxing fans around the world with his exciting ring style,” said Hall of Fame director Edward Brophy. We are so happy that he will be in Canastota for the very first time to participate in 2026 Hall of Fame Weekend events.”
Garcia, who was trained by his father Eduardo and brother Robert, turned pro in 2006 and captured world championships in four weight divisions – featherweight (WBO), super featherweight (WBO), lightweight (WBC & IBF) and light welterweight (IBF) and scored wins over Orlando Salido, Juan Manuel Lopez, Roman Martinez, Adrien Broner and Jessie Vargas. Garcia retired in 2021 with a record of 40-2 (30 KOs).
In addition to Garcia, an impressive array of boxing stars from around the world are set to be in Canastota including Marco Antonio Barrera, Timothy Bradley, Jr., Michael Spinks, Christy Martin, Erik Morales, Winky Wright, Jim Lampley, Kelly “The Ghost” Pavlik, Vinny Paz, “Jesse” James Leija, Jorge Linares and Micky Ward.
The 2026 Hall of Fame Induction Weekend is scheduled for June 11-14. Many events will take place in Canastota and nearby Turning Stone Resort Casino throughout the four-day celebration including ringside talks, fist casting, fight night, 5K race / fun run, boxing autograph card show, banquet, parade and induction ceremony.
